A CLASSICAL CONTEMPORARY BALLET SCHOOL!! The Amy Gould Ballet School is a full time training facility for children, teenagers and adults for recreational, educational and professional purposes. Emphasis is on training strong, musical dancers who are versatile and able to learn quickly and with confidence. The Principal, Amy Gould is a Fellow of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. The school has an independent program of training that sets out to put in place what is required in the dance work place. Those interested in a performing career have the opportunity, if suitable, of auditioning for Dance Crew, the performing company in association with the AGBS. Dance movement and creative dance is taught for school requirements. Classes are held 6 days a week Monday through to Saturday. Children from 4 years of age, teenagers, adult beginners and company classes for professional dancers are held morning, afternoon and evenings. The school, custom built for dance has sprung floors, mirrors, a library and dressing rooms. Large grounds behind security fencing allow for freedom of movement outside before or after classes. Parking is available at the back of the school in a tarred parking area. The premises have been upgraded to accommodate the need for new performing venues. The school and company now have their own 100 seat Theatre On-Main.
